It is quite frustrating that when you are planning to celebrate year’s most expected day with your beloved ones and some inevitable troubles bar your ways. This year severe fog and blizzard at many airports of the Europe and across America seemed paralyzed against this natural disaster, and as a result, thousands of air travelers were deprived of celebrating Christmas.
According to the AAA predictions, about 9 million Americans planned to take to the air during the nine-day Christmas-to-New Year’s period.

Denver airport, the second largest airport in the world, after being snowed for two days, almost resumed its normal work but for many travelers stranded in its terminals there was rare hope of getting flights soon. Around 3,000 arriving flights at Denver airport were grounded or diverted during the 45-hour shutdown that began Wednesday.

However, United Airlines, the busiest carrier at Denver International decided to operate a complete schedule of 900 departures and arrivals Saturday for the first time since the storm blew in Wednesday, said a company’s representative.

It was expected that all six runways would turn clear by Sunday, but it remained uncertain when the backlog of travelers would be cleared out.
