IN the view of the upcoming 15th Asian Games to be held in Doha, Qatar Airways would increase 12 additional flights to Doha in its current squad. The new flights would operate from 15th December to 31ist January next year. Naveen Chawla, Area Manager of Qatar Airways, made these announcements.

Currently the carrier operates 30 flights from all the Indian major airports (Mumbai, Delhi, Cochin, Trivandrum and Hyderabad) which will be increased to 42 from 15 December.

We are also delighted to respond to the Indian government’s policy of open skies during the winter by launching additional flights between Qatar and India, he said.

The carrier is also the official partner of the Indian team for the Asian games and would carry about 250 players to Doha.
