Attendants on Northwest’s domestic flights now have just an hour between flights. Waiting for all passengers to get off board and onboard takes 15 minutes and 30 minutes, leaving them with just about 15 minutes to eat. Like several rivals, Northwest stopped providing meals to domestic attendants.
This is also resulting in inefficiency: as in delay in flights because as human beings they sure need to work. All the contract changes sure have left behind hungrier people.
