Boeing service

Boeing says that it can not find a buyer for its unit, Connexion, that sells high-speed broadband service to airlines and will shut it down by the end of the year. Even though the 10 airlines including Lufthansa, Singapore airlines that have been using it will be disappointed , it has to be done because of lack of a sufficient market.

Forrester Research analyst say’s

“I think Connexion may have been a product slightly of ahead of its times,” “Boeing bears a lot of responsibility for its failure to make the equipment viable for single-aisle planes. It was too heavy and too expensive.”

This will cause disappointment to customers who had got used to these services until a replacement is found.
