
Working on the possibility of starting the Kuala Lumpur to Singapore air route to the budget airlines of the two countries, Malaysia airline seeks to broaden its horizon, as per a senior official. The Transport Ministry has set up a committee to deliberate upon the issue, which is expected to come up with recommendations in the next few weeks.
Transport Minister Chan Kong Choy is reported to have said that : Malaysia’s Air Asia and Singapore’s Tiger Airways have shown an interest in flying the route, which is one of Asia’s most profitable and busiest routes.
