US Department of Transportation(DOT) approves Jetstar’s international flights between Australia and Honolulu. Flights start on 23rd November.
* Thrice a week from Sydney to Honolulu.
* Twice from Melbourne to Honolulu.
Australia’s Minister for Transport and Regional Services, Warren Truss, stated that
“This outcome is a firm endorsement of the Australian Government’s international aviation policy approach that emphasises the importance of a strong Australian-based aviation industry capable of competing on the world stage,”
More flights means more seats all the more reason to take a vacation.
