The postponement of flights also caused on the earnings of airline as it has reduced to more than half, a British Airways spokeswoman said.
Christopher Avery, an analyst said:
The rough math, given that long-haul flights are still operating, might indicate a cost of less than 10 million pounds ($19.7 million) to British Airways for each day of this kind of disruption.
Air passengers were forced to spend nights in tents. Weathermen predicted that conditions will remain same with poor visibility. However, meteorological office said on its website that there is a possibility of improvement on Dec.24.
