The 3 Airlines, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and easyJet are all set to sue the BAA to recover at least some out of£250m , that they have incurred in damages due to the airports security issue.( British Midland, Ryanair may also be joining).
This was bound to happen after 5 days of interruption of flights; Heathrow (London) got 20pc of flights cancelled even today. Most feel that even though the circumstances were exceptional,British Airports Authority could have handled the situation in a better way.
