
Definitely not the right choice. Since they contain toxic materials, so dumping them at a far-off airfield or throwing them in the sea is totally not the answer. But that’s just what has been happening, according to Bill Glover, Boeing’s director of environmental performance for commercial aeroplanes.
Today there is great increase in the number of planes that are beyond use and need to be made redundant.Lots are taken apart for parts to be reused and the rest to be converted into scrap. Future planes made of carbon fibre will leave no scarp.
Carbon Fibre is recycled in a process taking just 20 minutes. The end product might even be reused in Planes.For now old planes should definitely be recycled as far as possible.
