Dense fog condition in many parts of the Europe is causing major delays in flights, leaving many holidaymakers in trouble. Hundreds of domestic flights and some international flights have been canceled at Heathrow airport, London alone. Around three million Britons are estimating to travel between December 23 and January 2. Airlines are likely to follow the halt because of the continued thick fog and total number of canceled flights have raised to 350.

A passenger said–

We have been from queue to queue, we have been on standby and now finally have a ticket, but don’t know if the flight will depart.

The meteorological department predicted that soon there is no sign of weather lifting and Christmas cheers seems to turn into a disaster, as hardly 48 hours remains to celebrate it.

Thick fog has not only stranded thousands of passengers at London but it has also affected travelers in the US. Around 5000 passengers are waiting to be boarded due to a major snowstorm at Denver International Airport in Colorado.
