US leading Airline Company Delta Airlines has announced to start their first non-stop flight between New York and Mumbai, the only airline to initiate non-stop service between Mumbai and America. The company’s officials are hoping that this new service would be able cater the demands of business and tourists. Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, carrying 268 passengers with 50 seats in BusinessElite will be operating by Delta between Mumbai and New York. Next summer, travelers who are willing to fly in BusinessElite between Mumbai and New York will enjoy Delta’s luxurious services, including more comfortable, enhanced leg rests, and 60 inches of legroom that has made especially for business travelers.

Delta has already tied up Indian carrier Kingfisher Airlines. Kingfisher Airlines would be providing flights to domestic airports including Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Ahmedabad within two hours of the arrival of the flight in Mumbai Airport.
